We are getting more and more excited for our upcoming trip to Texas in June! Our daughter Ieva is getting married and starting a new, beautiful life in USA. We couldn’t be more proud of Ieva and her fiancée Dustyn, all they have accomplished already and their big plans for future. Ieva is graduating this May from Texas A&M University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and soon will continue on to A&M Veterinary School to get her DVM. Dustyn has graduated from Texas A&M Kingsville Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Sciences and wants to become a Game Warden. Currently he is working for City of College Station. We can’t wait to meet all of her new family and celebrate this special day with them. It will be a wonderful trip to sunny Texas - state that we have heard so much about. We are ready for real BBQ, crab boil, deer and beef jerky, gun shooting lessons, country dancing, enjoying the sun by pool and so much more! Can’t wait to hug you both! We also get to visit New York on our way and stay with my sister for a couple of days. Together we all will fly to Texas for this very special occasion!

Howdy Dear Visitors,
Welcome to the website of FCI registered kennel Golden Diamond Cresteds and the world of Chinese Crested dogs! My name is Ieva and my mom is Diana. Together with our family we share our love to this amazing breed. We come from Latvia - country in North-Eastern Europe on the East coast of the Baltic Sea. My family and I live close to the capital city Riga.
There have always been animals in my life since I can remember myself. My mom is a Veterinarian and I can say that I have grown up in her clinic. In fact, I am studying to become a Veterinarian at Texas A&M University, to follow the footsteps of my mom, both of her parents and one of her great grandfathers.
A dream about a Chinese Crested Dog in our family was cherished for a long time, first time we saw this breed when my mothers' friend bought one - a beautiful black powderpuff lady and fell in love with these dogs. After that we decided that one day, maybe, we would have a Chinese Crested too.
We searched through many countries, kennels, breeders and websites, finding out so much more about these dogs, and finally found Trixy on December of 2005, shortly before Christmas. Then we found out that the only thing that is better than a Chinese Crested is two Chinese Cresteds, and later on that three Chinese Cresteds are better than two...
We will never stop loving our dogs, they are part of our family, life and each of them is a personality!
We would like to say a big Thank You to breeders of our Diamonds - Jelena Zhizhina from Moscow, Russia; Amy and Bill Thompson from Texas, USA; Sascha Kober from Köln, Germany! Without these people we would not have our awesome dogs that make our life so much more enjoyable! Also, thank you to all new parents of our Diamonds for taking such a good care of our babies, we couldn't be happier and more proud of each and every one of them!
